This eight-hour instructor-led course surveys changes in the 2026 National Electrical Code. Participants refresh NEC navigation, compare selected new and revised provisions with the prior edition, and discuss how changes affect design, installation, inspection, and field work.

- Compare selected 2026 requirements with the prior edition and explain their practical effect.
Topics and format
Code organization and navigation; selected revisions to wiring and protection, wiring methods, equipment, special occupancies and equipment, communications, and other covered provisions; implications for design, installation, and inspection.
This course surveys selected changes. Participants should consult the adopted code and local amendments applicable to their jurisdiction. Primary reference: NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, 2026 edition.
