This eight-hour online course focuses on lithium-ion battery manufacturing, assembly, and handling. Participants examine cell, module, and pack construction; electrical, chemical, thermal, and stored-energy hazards; risk assessment; and safe work planning through instructor-led discussion and scenarios.

8 hours online. Discussion and scenarios; no hands-on assembly or electrical protective equipment practice.

Manufacturing and testing line personnel, assembly workers, safety staff, supervisors, engineers, planners, and others who handle battery components or oversee manufacturing and assembly work.

Li-Ion is the primary chemistry. The same course can cover sodium-ion and traditional battery chemistries as needed by the customer.
This online course does not qualify participants as battery workers or prepare them to use electrical protective equipment. Employers determine task-specific qualification, procedures, and authorization.
